Dear blog,

Ang tagal na ng huling “Dear blog” entrty ko. Wala lang. Nagtataka ka siguro kung bakit hindi ako masyadong makapag-update. GC na kasi ako ngayon at kakatapos ko lang ng karamihan ng exams ko: isa nung Thursday, tatlo kahapon, at dalawa kanina. Sa katunayan, nasa PC shop ako ngayon dahil may 2-hour break ako dahil wala kaming Accounting dahil nga kakatapos lang ng exam. Kung tutuusin nga ay pwede na kong umuwi dahil isa na lang ang subject pagkatapos nito pero dahil nga GC nako, nag-internet na lang ako para pampalipas oras. Ayokong umabsent dun sa last class ko kasi magrereview kami para sa exam namin sa Tuesday. Pero syempre alam mong isang malaking joke lang ang excuse na ito; na nagccram pa rin ako hanggang ngayon at nagmememorize lang ako sa jeep papuntang school. Alam mo na ang totoong dahilan kung bakit wala akong update ay dahil hanggang ngayon ay wala pa rin akong internet sa bahay. Ang lungkot no. Pero hindi naman ako masyadong nababato sa bahay kasi nagbabasa ako ngayon ng Sandman. Asteeeg. Tsaka tinatapos ko na yung Prison Break. (Oo, hindi pa rin ako tapos kasi inuna kong tapusin yung Season 1-3 ng House.)

Ayun lang naman. Wala na ko sa mood magkwento. (Dahil wala rin naman akong ikukwento in the first place.) Parang gusto kong gawin yung Google Image Search na blog entry na nakita ko kina Len at Janis kaya lang parang time-consuming. Mamaya na lang kasi malapit na ko umalis.

Kiddie parties at Jollibee haven’t changed one bit.

Janis and Lenlen asked me to go to UP earlier today for different reasons, the former to attend Sunday service with her, JE, and BuddyDan and the latter to hear mass at Parish of the Holy Sacrifice and at the same time hear her sing with the choir. It didn’t really matter which I would choose because we’d all probably meet at LB right after. Janis invited me to attend the Sunday service with her, JE, and BuddyDan. Lenlen said it would be the perfect time to visit UP since they would all be present for various reasons.  But even though I terribly miss all these people, I had to decline. It as my cousin’s first birthday and it was going to be celebrated at Jollibee. I can’t miss that, can I? Janis said she understood perfectly well that I would rather spend the day with Jollibee than spend it with them. Of course. I told her that I can’t just text Jollibee so we could spend some time together at the malls; that these were rare occasions we should take advantage of. She said she wasn’t so sure about that. There she goes again - confusing JE with Jollibee.

My mom now knows how to use a digital camera. I had to teach her a while ago because Kuya Anthony asked me to operate the video camera. So: (1) my arms hurt like hell after the party; (2) I wasn’t able to eat properly; (3) I won’t be seen on the playback; (4) I only have two pictures, one of them I wasn’t even looking; (5) I didn’t get to have a picture with Jollibee! My mom captured some great moments but it’s probably because she just kept on clicking and clicking and just deleted the bad pictures afterwards. Maybe now I can talk her to buying a newer, better model.

I don’t understand why most children love Jollibee so much.

Nakakatawa. Ako yung highest sa isang 50-item test sa Accounting. Nakakatuwa rin. Bilang nahirapan talaga ko sa pag-iisip ng tamang sagot. Paborito ko talagang type ng exam ang multiple choice pero may mga pagkakataon talaga na ang hirap pumili ng tamang letra lalo na pag tipong isa o dalawang salita lang ang pinagkaiba ng mga choices. Pero ayun ang sarap ng feeling. Haha. Pero hindi naman ako nag-post ng entry para magyabang. Quite the contrary nga kasi ipapahiya ko ang sarili ko.

(Magbabanggit ako ng accounting terms. Huwag na lang pansinin kung di maka-relate.)

Nagbigay ng problem yung prof namin. Given yung trial balance for November at transactions for December, kelangan naming i-post yung transactions sa journal, gumawa ng t-accounts, at gawin yung trial balance ng December. Madali naman siya kung tutuusin tapos highest pa ko sa theoretical exam so imaginin niyo na lang ang yabang ko nang panahong iyon. As I expected, na-balance ko siya. Yun nga lang, hindi dapat kasi hindi ko sinama sa computation yung starting balances na given dun sa November trial balance. Tapos kaya ko lang siya na-balance ay dahil dun sa December 2 transaction, dinebit ko yung Accounts Receivable at kinredit ko yung Revenues pero dapat Cash ang nakadebit samantalang Accounts Receivable naman ang nakacredit. Buti na lang walang nakakuha ng tamang sagot kasi wala kahit isa samin ang nagtake into consideration nung November trial balance. Nagbigay tuloy yung prof ko ng panibagong problem. Keri lang.
